Avoid this company - Bear Creek Arsenal BC-10 .308 Winchester 20in Bolt Action Style Upper Receiver

This entire upper had to be stripped, cleaned, and torqued to spec. Rail was loose and the barrel was hand tight. On a .308? Really? Right out the box this gun is disappointing. Gun does not want to cycle. Only works with Dpms gen1 lowers and the fit is still trash, so your best bet is to get one of the bear creek lowers and expect to have to clean polish everything as well. It won’t be in spec. Check for yourself. You will have to modify this upper. The entire bolt has to be polished and buffed. Every edge that can have burrs from the machining process, will need to be smoothed. The finish is to the point where you can cut yourself. This should be done at the factory. After putting another handful of cash into this gun it will shoot, but the accuracy is horrible and it’s still hard to cycle. Groups at 100 are like 6 inches. Waste of money. QC is non existent with BC apparently.
