Best way to clean a hot barrel - Beretta Shotgun Pull-Through Cleaning Rope

This will not replace solvent and patches but will clean barrel enough to shoot without preforming that task. Until it falls off the white sponge can be use even when completely black. I always keep one in my shotgun case.
