Legacy Reviewer's Review of Bianchi 17A, 17B and 17C Piranha Holsters Model 77 for Springfield XD-45 (3, 4, 5 in)
I use a De Santis scorpion IWB 75 % of the time.
But I don't like it aa well when I am in a suit or sports coat. I find that most belt holsters pull down on my belt too much -- yes a good thick made to carry a gun belt. I had not used a pancake holster or a leather holster in twenty years, so tried it. It's good; it spreads the weight out more, conceals well, rides well: nice and close for concealment vs "get the perfect grip before you draw but the butt sticks out like a sore thumb and flops around otherwise during the day". the only thing I don't like is that for me, the ride seems too high for a smooth draw. Still I recommend it.
Pros: Comfortable to wear; good fit; some adjustment of cant
Cons: Rides high, leather seems thin
