My local indoor range has rather poor lighting, so when trying to zero either iron sights or an optic with a black reticle, splatter targets with black backgrounds are a pain. These Birchwood Casey targets work much better for that purpose. The only drawback is that, rather than "splatter" like similar targets, these flake off, leaving a bit more of a mess . . . if you're concerned about that sort of thing. Nice of them to include pasters, unlike some brands.
