Bison l2 lock completely failed - Bison L2 Biometric Fingerprint Trigger Lock

I set up the administrator fingerprint with only a little hassle, then tested it a dozen or more times before putting my gun away for the day - no problems. A couple days later I was at the range and it could not read my fingerprint under any conditions. I tried all of my fingers, just in case, in every orientation. I cleaned my fingers and tried again. No dice. Unfortunately, the factory reset requires you to input your administrator fingerprint, so this is now just a big, $100 paperweight without the key on hand. Disassembling and manually disconnecting the battery does not reset anything, either. The Bison phone number just sends you to an unidentified voicemail, have received no help on that front.
