The split design works. Center of bore and center of scope are on the same vertical axis. Dual split top clamps per ring holds scope very tight thus no need to crank it up as hard as regular rings to get the same grip. Installed on a 4.5-18x44 scope with flip-caps on both ends and there’s still around 1/4” clearance from objective to level of the top of my 11m rail.
Pros:
- Good concept/design and executed well.

- Price $$$
