Bought 2, red & black. - Black Diamond Cosmo 350-R Headlamp

I bought two of these rechargeable 350R headlamps for use in both of my chest rigs, as I wanted something that would be light weight & didn't take batteries. This is the first model that comes with both the red light, & the lockout feature. So this is really THE light to get if you want to keep it simple, but also have 99% of the features of this line of rechargeable headlamps.

You can dim both the white light, & the red light, which I didn't realize until I skimmed over the manual that came with them. That's really awesome, as the red light is excellent for nighttime use, so you don't blind yourself with the white light. With that said, both lights can be dimmed to be extremely low power. So low, that you'll likely only use the lowest power in an area with zero light sources around you, & for "at arms length" use.

I couldn't be happier with these lights, because I store them in my chest rigs in their "locked" configuration (hold down both buttons for ~4 seconds & the red light will blink 5 times letting you know it's locked), which prevents accidental discharge. They are also bright enough, but not too bright to blind yourself when using the white light.

Totally recommended, ignore the price, just get one, you won't be disappointed!
