Best jacket for powder skiing - Black Diamond Mission Shell - Men's

I love this shell. It is Goretex Active, so a little more breathable than Goretex Pro shells. I have skiing 14 days so far with it and it has help up well in dumping snow for 9 of those days. The jacket stops winds (I tested this up to 40mph gusts) and water beads off it. Be sure to wash it when you start noticing the areas near the pocket zippers losing their ability to bead off water. The inside of the shell is soft and can be worn against the skin comfortably. Powder skirt does not come out. Hood is big enough to go over a helmet on the lift.
