Sort of a 'jazzed-up' basic sling.
The idea is good, but the reality of quickly altering sling-length isn't quite there. Or it's too quick, I should say; the webbing takes some wrangling to keep from randomly loosening when under load.
I suppose if I practiced enough with it, I could relatively quickly transition from snug carry-sling to support sling, but I ended up sticking a 1" elastic keeper on it to keep things in place. This still allows me to alter the length, but also reduces the speed at which this can be done. Not anything I would recommend for tactical/critical shots, but fine for more leisurely carry.
