This is a GREAT addition to a tactical vest, where you can clip the weapon on the shoulder D-ring (or use a sling) and then lock into the weapons catch. I've used it on my 870 shotgun and my AR-15, both work well and are held even if you have to move fast.
Pros: well made, aluminum catch holds the weapon, easy to install
