The elastic for holding the magazines is sufficient to hold the empties in place. With loaded mags, they'll sag to the bottom when carrying but still have sufficient elastic to hold the mags from dislodging. The bag is nicely padded to keep your hardware protected. The open pistol pouch is OK for quick removal of the weapon, but a zipper would have been nice to keep the weapon from falling out should the bag get tilted. Quality is on par with other brands of high quality gear.
Pros: Exellent soft gun and magazine carrier/storage bag for the money.
Cons: Could use a zipper to close off the gun pouch.
