I purchased this holster for personal protection while hunting. It took about an hour to adjust the holster to properly fit to my (large) leg. During the hunting trip, my .45 stayed firmly planted in the holster and the thumb break provided for easy, quick access. This is a great recreational holster.
Pros: Good quality, good price
Cons: Almost too adjustable, safety retention strap depresses grip safety on 1911
