Blackhawk serpa level 3 xiphos light-bearing holster - Blackhawk Level 3 SERPA Light Bearing Holster for Handguns That Have Attached Xiphos Tactical Light

I had the Blackhawk Level 3 holster prior to this one just couldn't attach a light to my Glock 19, I have written reviews for multiple different holsters and there's a reason I choose this one for on duty use. In my opinion it is the best Level 3 holster out there... But has close competition with the Safariland Level 3 holsters. It has the fastest draw of any level 3 holster, and faster then most level 2 holsters for that matter. It is extremely secure, and another pro over this holster as opposed to the Safariland level 3 is when the hood is opened on this holster, it is locked into place and cannot accidentally close in case you have your weapon drawn and bump into something. Where the safariland hood on the level 3 holster will close very easily if bumped into a building or car and not allow you to re-holster. It is a very simple natural operation when drawing your weapon, no crazy hoods or extra buttons to push. Just grasp your weapon with a normal pistol grip while simultaneously releasing the 2 safety's and your weapon is free. It's also very easy to switch from a duty rig to a thigh rig if you so choose. I personally wear it on a Blackhawk thigh rig while on duty. I also worn the Blackhawk thigh rig with a level 2 holster while overseas, and swear by there merchandise. But would not suggest a Level 2 holster for on duty here in the states. If your trying to decide between the Blackhawk Level 3 and the Safariland Level 3 which is what most people narrow it down to. Handsdown go with the Blackhawk. This one is just better because you can carry the Xiphos night light. Which im a fan of over the Streamlight TLR-1, It's brighter and the button system is easier and more practical. You can also use this holster with or without your light attached. With that being said... GO BUY IT!
