Nice holster, but... - Blackhawk Sportster Ambi Holster w/ Mag Pouch

I bought this holster for my newest handgun, a S&W M&P .22, and the fit is perfect for the gun. The .22 nestles perfectly inside the holster, the safety strap is sufficiently stiff to secure the gun, but still spring out of the way when it's unsnapped, and the spare mag holder easily accommodates my spare mag and may even be able to house 2 spare mags, if they're staggered. This holster will also fit other S&W M&P's with barrel's up to 5-inches length. It also comes with a metal clip so you can also use it as an inside-the-waistband, concealed-carry holster. I wanted to use it as a open-carry holster for the field, so, in order to make sure of the correct belt width I would need, I spoke (on-line chat) to a CS rep to see what belt the ambidextrous loops would accommodate. I was told, "up to 2-inches", and I was happy because I have a spare 2-inch belt in my closet. However, when I received the holster I immediately saw that the belt loops would NOT fit a 2-inch belt. In fact, the widest belt this holster will fit onto is 1.5 inches. Consequently, I had to order a new 'field-use' belt. So, if you plan to use this holster for your handgun, make sure you understand the holster will only fit onto belts up to 1.5 inches wide.
