This sling has been a main staple for a while, but has limited tactical use. While it is ambidextrous for a left or right handed users; while slung, you cannot transition to the weak side without unslinging your weapon. This is due to it's3-point design and is intended to relieve the weight of the weapon and keep it at low ready. You can sling the weapon to your backside to free both hands easily and the quick disconnect and adjusting buckle works well, but is tedious to reconnect the adjustment buckle. Dont get me wrong, this is a durable and quality built sling by Blackhawk, but the more of an urban combat zone you get into, the more you need to transition to weak side and this sling will not allow you to do so while slung for your strong side. 3-points are out and single point slings are in. If you cant hold your weapon in your hands while in combat or patrolling and need a sling to help with the weight then you need to train more or get another job. Slings are not meant to be a hanger, but a way to keep your weapon on you when you transition to a side arm or need both hands to perform a task. If you don't need to transition due to environment then this sling is for you. Great product and design for intended use.
Pros: Durable, Great for it's intended use. Value priced
Cons: Non-Ambidextrous while slung, Adjustable to a certain point
