3-points, but single function
This sling has been a main staple for a while, but has limited tactical use. While it is ambidextrous for a left or right handed users; while slung, you cannot transition to the weak side without unslinging your weapon. This is due to it's3-point design and is intended to relieve the weight of the w...

Complicated
Don't buy this sling, it's a damn Rubick's cube
Pros: Not many I can think of
Cons: Very complicated set-up, too many straps here and there
Blackhawk 3 Point Sling: The Perfect Tactical Sling
This is the third Blackhawlk 3 Point Sling I have purchased.
It keeps your rifle in a ready access position when walking, but when shouldered shooting position, the sling also can steady the firearm as you line up the crosshairs.
Excellent quality, workmanship, and value. You get what you pay for. You can' go wrong with this versatile sling.

Disappointed
The assembly instructions were poorly written and hard to follow, making installation more difficult than it should have been. Also, I'm not a fan of the double nylon sling band design. Too much hanging around your neck... Prefer the standard sling or a single nylon loop sling attached to the AR extension tube...

Great sling
Best sling I've Tryed for predator hunting. No sliding off your shoulder like a two point and states secure to you unlike a angle point flapping around. I will be putting these on all my rifles.

Just as expected
Had to get a sling on a rifle with zero normal attachment points. Used the different parts from this kit to get the sling onto the rifle.

Does what it needs to do.
Even with an Ivy League education I had trouble figuring out how to put this thing on my AR. Another reviewer called it a "Rubik's cube" accurately. However, once in place, it is a solid sling that does what it's meant to do. It doesn't have the frills of much more expensive slings, but it works well. One note: the "quick detach" option only detaches you from the sling, not the gun from the sling. Normally not an issue except if you're in active duty (armed forces, police, etc.) and need the ability to detach both yourself and the gun from the sling with a snap.
Pros: Cheap, solid construction, multiple configs
Cons: not too easy to figure out

Blackhawks sling
Over all this is a very well made product, that will be in demand for some time to come.
Pros: There can be several different variations in the configuration
Cons: Extention straps appear to be the weakest link

Great Sling - Keep Your Instructions
I bought this sling to use with a RRA mid-length AR. One thing to mention is that I have a Magpul MOE stock, and this sling is not the best for these. It is designed for a stock that has a sling slot cut near the top, but you can mess with it to make it work.
Otherwise, the sling works great with this rifle, and is adjustable for my 6'2" height and long reach. Threading this thing through all the buckles and loops is a little time consuming and confusing, but just keep with the instructions and you'll get it. It also came with straps for attaching the sling to swivels, rifle stocks, and almost anything else you want.
Overall great sturdy sling, with tons of features.
Pros: Multiple uses, great 3-point sling
Cons: Takes a while to set up
