Xd45 users- won't hold xd 45 mags! - Blade-Tech IDPA Competition Shooters Pack

My order contained the following combo pack:
Blade-Tech IDPA Competition Shooters Pack,Springfield XD 45 4in and
Revolution DMP Double Stack 10/45,Right Hand

The holster works fine, but the magazine carrier is too small for XD 45 magazines. Bladetech sells the combo too, but i can't find anything online discussing an issue with these mags carriers. Maybe I had the wrong carrier in my combo?

Specifically, The magazine holder is too narrow (bullet to primer) for the XD 45 13 round mags. I took the screw out of the mag holder, and i still couldn't even force fit it; the plastic is very thick and stiff. The only option would be to sand/file the insides of the mag holder to appx 50% thickness. Maybe that would work? But for about $90, this should've been a true-fit combo for the Springfield XD 45 4" bbl (and it's magazines).
