The primary difference between the Walther PPQ M1 and the M2 is the location of the magazine release - which does not affect the basic shape of the gun. When I finally realized this, I ordered the blue training gun for the PPQ M1 (w 4" barrel), and, sure enough, it does fit my molded Kydex M2 holster just fine. So if you're tapping your toes as I was, waiting for a blue PPQ M2 to come out - tap no longer. The M1 gets it done.
