Just bought a spotting scope. A friend recommended this tripod. It works very well.
Pros: Very solid, easy to use
Cons: A little heavy, but wouldn't provide as good a base for my spotting scope if it were too light.

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
