Actual blade length - Boker USA Traditional Series Trapper Bone Knife

Seller lists the blade length as 4.25 inches. Boker lists the closed length as 4.25 inches. See how it works is the blade length is always (ok, maybe almost always) shorter than the length closed. I measure the closed length closer to 4.1875 inches but who is counting. I guess I am. If it's not too late to make a long story short, this knife has a blade length of 3.1875 inches give or take. Safely under the 4.00 restrictions in many jurisdictions.
