A very well made knife - Boker USA Vollintegral XL Grenadill Fixed Blade Knife, 9.13in

I've been on the fence about buying this knife for about a year but towards the end of the year Optics Planet had a sale - that was all it took. The knife arrived in a _very well made_ display case really gave it a great box opening experience. I have other professionally made knives that just shipped in a cardboard box and I recall the let down - sometimes a little presentation goes a long way.

The knife itself is heavy and sturdy. It is also pretty large. I have never owned bowie style knives but this would count in my mind. I absolutely love this knife. The Grenadill scales are smooth and have a great polish to them. The blade is very sharp right out of the box. It has a false top edge. Feel great in the hand and I would say it is going to get a lot of use.

The sheath is very very nice. Great leather and heavy stiching that will last for years.

I cannot say enough great things about this knife or Boker. I spoke with one of their reps to tell them how much I loved the knife. Boker really crafted a quality knife. I am very pleased with my purchase and Optics Planet got it to me quickly.
