Legacy Reviewer's Review of Bolle Sport Optics Tetra Sun Glasses
Now that I need prescription sunglasses I have abandoned my old fave brands Oakley and Rudy Project due to their expense. Bolle makes a pretty good line of "crossover" sport sunglasses like the Tetra, that offer non-slip nosepieces & earstems yet look casual enough to wear for everyday.
I had a pair of Bolle Anacondas which lasted really well for over two years--While the nosepad is breaking down a bit, the frame is still perfect--I never have had a pair of Oakleys last that long without breaking. The Tetras are pretty much identical to the Anacondas but with more coverage, so they're better for my big melon and have better coverage for the bike.
Optical quality is very good as well-- The polarized film in my previous pair got distorted over time so I did TNS non-polarized this time and they are plenty dark. Overall very happy with these glasses.
Pros: Relatively affordable; comfortable no-slip fit; durable
Cons: Not as well-ventilated as some competitors
