I have a Boyd's Identical to this one on my Savage model 111 and I shot the rifle 16 times and the stock cracked down the middle from the front receiver bolt all the way through the thumb hole and I got in contact with boyds and the woman I spoke with had a very rude attitude and was pretty much told that there is nothing that they can do and it isn't there fault so in my opinion this stock is junk
