Bought this item to use while hunting deer. Most of the time I hunt from a tent due to my age. This vest is great because I can remove my large hunting coat and still stay warm while having the pads to cut down on recoil. Also it is very smooth in the front which allows for quick shooting and the vest material is very quiet. If the weather is warm, I can just use the vest for my outer coat and this also works well.
