Rick's Review of Breek Arms AR-15 Warhammer Mod2 Micro Ambidextrous Charging Handle
I ordered the 'micro' version and didn't realize until I installed it that it is not considerably wider than a standard mil-spec BCH. However, I sold it to my good patriot neighbor and he had a build in progress that it worked perfectly for. The Warhammer is everything they say about it. It's quality and value is unmatched by anything. The color is not a true FDE (it has a slight bronze tone to it), but that should be expected when you are comparing an 'anodized' aluminum finish to a 'polymer/plastic' FDE product.
I ordered the wider version (non-micro) and now it is PERFECT sitting under my rear magnifier and red dot system on a 1" bridge-rail riser. I can used the bridge rail so I could pull the magnifier back for better eye relief, and bridge over my 45 degree offset iron back-up sights. Sweet and very functional setup. Get one before someone figures out they are so good and priced so well that they raise the price. Haven't put rounds through it yet to comment on the 'gas cuts' (both at top and bottom) and high rear-upper shelf effectiveness, but I'm confident it will work much better than the mil-spec BCH that was on my build, which is a modified Core lower and PSA 10.5 upper pistol build. Good luck and happy shooting Patriots!
