Ordered these for family vacation in the mountains of Colorado. Reported bears and mountain lions in area. Never had to use the slugs. But, did shot a couple for testing. They showed more kick than 2 1/2 inch slugs and very hard hitting on steel targets. I would trust them if ever needed protection from a bear attack.

  • Very trusting if ever needed for protection.
Cons:
  • They do kick hard.
