Browning recoil Hawg

When they first came out I didn't know what to think, they are big. They are loud, but they work at reducing the felt recoil. They make one model for Sporter barrels,and one for ,700 shoulder barrels. I use them on my 22,6 mm 6.5 creedmoors and 6.5 PRC with lija barrels. Work fantastic well worth the money

  • Makes quite a bang, but I always wear hearing protection

It’s a tremendous difference in the recoil of my 26 nosler, had to buy it for the 28 nosler. Will be installing the one I miss ordered on my 7 mm mag or the 300 mag depending which on it fits.Muzzl

Great for big calibers

While the look is amazing, this brake turned my 300winmag in to a 22. Great for bench shooting and hunting alike…just make sure you have hearing protection!

Recoil Hawg

I own several muzzle brakes some being very cheap and some being much more expensive. Often the more expensive ones are outperformed by the cheap ones. I needed a muzzle break that would reduce recoil on a very light 5.5 lb Christensen Arms Mesa fft, while I'm waiting for my suppressor. Not only does the Recoil hog reduce recoil it matches the bronzer coat very well. The design is excellent and allows for use with two different thread patterns I'm very pleased and it is a huge improvement over the factory radial break.

Massive recoil reduction in 7mm rem mag hunting rifle. So much more enjoyable to shoot, and far easier to re-acquire target for follow-up shots.
