VERY simple to install and rigid as heck. I knew just from looking at it how it would have to fit on. Undid the two mounting screws, put the base on, put the screws back in and its locked in tight. Bought this for the wife's pistol and it took maybe 5 minutes to install with the Buckmark scope, and sight it in.
