I wanted a compact size case and this case over does it.The butt stock partly slips under the barrel section.Angle the butt stock to slip under barrel area. Barrels ride on top with out much protection. I have a Browning 725 Sporting that does not do well in the case. This case is more to the liking of my Cynergy Composit. Poor choice of fitting blocks with it also. Size matters and next purchase I will give more thought on this issue.
