Preface: I have owned this knife combination previously for over 15 years. I was looking for another one to replace the one I currently have because I absolutely swear by this unit. This knife is made for hunters...if your an avid hunter you must own one. The product is made in Japan but do not think it is cheap far from it. The blade is excellent holds an edge sharpens easy and skins effortlessly. The the gut hook is awesome and makes simple work of most field dressing jobs.
