Browning two barrel - fitted take down gun case - Browning Traditional Fitted Case for Auto/Pump Shotgun

Although designed for a Browning automatic shotgun, a friend told me that this case would work for my Remington 1100 12 Gauge Set. He was right and with all the blocks included with the case I was able to put my 1100 Sporting Frame and Forend, a 28" Sporting Barrel with extended chokes and a Custom 30" Trap Barrel also with extended chokes. There is room to spare for all the choke tubes that came with the 1100 sporting as well as the extra I have purchased.

One word of caution. The barrel cradels are set up to take barrels with standard vent ribs. If you intend to have a high rib trap barrel as I did, you will either be limited to the hight of the high rib or you will have to modify on of the barrel cradles, which have more than enough room to cut them out if you want to remove and re-glue the felt. With a 1/2 " Add A Rib extension to the Competition 12 Gauge Trap Barrel, no modification was necessary, though it took a little time for the upper padding to contor to the barrel.

I am now adding an adjustable comb to the stock as well as a spacer to lengthen the LOP so that this gun will now be a combination Skeet, Sporting and Back Up trap gun. All the modifications are easily accommodated by the flexibility of this case.
