For under $10, I no longer get lost in Chicago, New York, Boston, etc., because my little compass is attached just inside my purse, visible night or day, and I know that Michigan Avenue is that way or Park Avenue is this way. I've had it for two years, and it still works great, getting knocked around in my purse.
Pros: Perfect for purse or key ring-keeps you headed in the right direction!
Cons: Not designed for big-deal tasks like ocean navigation
