Scott's Review of Brunton SightMaster Professional Compasses

As an Advanced and Offshore Sailing Instructor teaching Navigation for over 30 years I have several Hand Held Compasses. The Sight Master Compasses that I have are the worst of any I have owned. They do not stand up and sfter a short time seize so that they are impossible to use and totally useless. I would strongly suggest that if you want a good marine compass that you look elsewhere.

  • Seize up after a short time.
