Very nice, but lens coatings may throw some - Brunton Echo Compact 8x25 Waterproof Binoculars ECHO825

I really like these Binos, but everyone I let try them notes that they are not as bright as others. That's from the Emerald Fire coating. It's supposed to filter harmful UV rays (and such) and is a bit like sunglasses. This is great if you are in a bright place with lots of glare or harsh light and shows colors very well. But it lower light, it's not as bright as others. The reduced strain on the eyes during daytime (or harsh glare) due to the coating is very welcome after a short time.
Pros: Light, Compact, Waterproof, Clear Image
Cons: Emerald Fire Coating may not be for all
