I bought this for my wife to learn good land navigation technique. It's simple and it works very well. I have a Brunton International Pocket Transit, so I'm very familiar with Brunton quality, and this item doesn't disappoint for the price.
Pros:
- light weight
- Inexpensive
- global needle
- easily adjustable
- easy to read
Cons:
- none so far
