They coulda been a contender. - BSA Optics Illuminated Sights Laser Sight w/ Flashlight

BSA has a well deserved iffy rep. Their products are priced for the Wall Mart crowd (like me) and not for professional types. You will never see a BSA product on an "operators" weapon. Having said all that, the design is sound. The mount is of good quality, heavy, sturdy and mounts securely. My laser worked well, maintaining a crisp dot to about 25 yd or better. The flashlight would barely light and would only be effective in a small dark closet (battery voltage was fine). I had hoped to simply replace the flashlight, but finding one with the proper o/d has as yet been fruitless. The threads on either end of the light or laser are not for the faint of heart. If you have steady hands and a light touch (think brain surgeon) they might work. Getting a "good" one (meaning everything actually works) will be the luck of the draw. GOOD LUCK!
