Intial impressions - BSA Optics Red Dot Sight Stealth Tactical Series w/ Illuminated Red Dot Reticle

First off the scope and the ammo can box look awsome. To my suprise the scope is actualy a varible power 1-3x magnification. Unfortunately this means that it only has unlimited eye relief on 1x mag and I was interested in forward mounting a 3x red dot scope. As far as the size goes, I was expecting a compact 3x extended eye relief scope and it is not. At 1x it is unlimited eye relief, but at 3x it is approx. 4-6 inches. This allow for a little bit of forward mounting but the overal length of the scope limits this due to the fact that it hits your front sight post. I think it will work for me and I am impressed with the quality and think that it is worth giving it a shot.
Pros: Looks, Clear glass, 1-3x magnification
Cons: Size, no unlimited eye relief
