I had purchased a couple of different trap/trail cameras in the past. The first one, the batteries acid leaked onto the motherboard. Why they engineered the motherboards below the battery bay was beyond me. Returned it.
Second was the Cuddeback Ambush Country IR Plus Trail Camera - 8MP. Was junk, wouldn't update with firmware, the camera and video camera had different views (video zoomed in) and couldn't see anything beyond 10 feet in the dark, more than half the picures had nothing in them. Returned it.
This one though, is the bomb. It has done everything I wanted and can clearly see beyond 50 feet in the dark in the nighttime photos. Thank you Browning. Would give 5 stars but the mounting is such that you have to completely undo straps from tree to remove unit. Other units I have tried can connect or disconnect to strap or anchor without completely undoing everything.
