Does a great job of holding the Ruger Bull Barrel 5" target pistol and extra magazines.Material is heavy, but fairly soft and sturdy. Rides 1 1/4" belt pretty well, but wider belt is preferable like maybe a 2" tactical.
The receiver snap for the retention strap is all metal. This makes it easy to adjust the heighth, but the edge is kind of hard on your right thumb when you release the strap.Not a big deal, but does slow the draw down a bit.
