Good alternative to expensive hard cases - Bulldog Cases & Vaults 34" X 12" Black Nylon Break Down Shotgun Case w/ Locking Zipper BD534

I wanted a good case for my daughter's first shotgun but didn't want to pay over $100. This was a good alternative. The egg crate foam is thicker and the "amplitude" of the hills and valleys of the egg crate is more than I have ever seen before. This allows it to grip the contents better to keep it from shifting. The zippers are a little tight. They should loosen up after a couple of years of use.
Pros: Thick foam and hard composite panels
Cons: Zippers are not very smooth opening
