Halfway between a hard case and a soft case - Bulldog Cases & Vaults Hard Sided 18" X 11" Black Nylon 4 Pistol Case w/ Locking Zipper BD518

At 1st I wasn't sure if I liked the way this is set up internally, but after using it for a while, I prefer it over all my soft cases, and most all of the expensive hard ones. For back and forth to the range it's hard to beat.

This case is set up differently than most hard cases, it has a hard flat top which is covered (inside) with a thick "fur". The bottom half is the "box" has the conventional "egg crate" foam in it. At 1st this seems like it might be inadequate, but it works great and I've not had any guns move around or be harmed in any way.

The zippers were hard to get past the corners at 1st, but quickly broke in and work smoothly now.

It's not a case for when your expecting very rough conditions, or weather, or need high security, but for day to day storage and transport, it's light, roomy and user friendly.

Great value.
