Name brand quality vs no name chinese rope - Bulldog Winch Synthetic Rope

Amazon is flooding the market with Chinese no name products for incredibly cheap prices.
When you do a search on Amazon, they don't even display anything else.
Try doing a search for synthetic winch rope and you won't come up with Bulldog rope
even though Amazon actually sells it.
It always makes me sceptical when there are a bunch of no name chinese products for $40,
then i find a few name brands that are over 10x more.
You get what you pay for and for something like a winch rope, i'm not going to compromise
safety by buying something from a company that doesn't even have a web sight.
Cheap is cheap.
Thank god the chinese can't come up with a brand name that doesn't sound chinese.
Optics Planet had this item on sale for a great price.
It was 4x the amazon prices, but Bulldog is a name brand in the winch industry and well worth the price.
I don't know how to tell how good it is unless i pull it hard enough to break it
but avoiding this situation is what it's all about.
I am very, very happy with my purchase.
