I bought these to mount a scope to my shotgun when a scope is necessary (eg: slug hunting). They appear sturdy and certainly easy to install. My only concern is that the recoil lug does not extend the whole width of the rail, only about half way. Will this be a problem? I don't know because I haven't shot yet to test them
