I purchased this unit to use at the range. It works well out to 200 yrds picking up .223 holes. Beyond that distance it's clarity is marginal but for the money (on sale for $198) and what I hoped for it do it is certainly adequate. The bench tri-pod that comes with it however is less than adequate and I have since replaced it. All in all for a piece of optic equipment under $200 I would definately recomend it.
Pros: Compact, Sturdy, Easy set up
Cons: Inadequate tri-pod
