First time prism red dot user - Burris RT-3 3x Red Dot Prism Sight

This optic was very clear and with my old eyes could see the 200 yd targets much better than with a standard red dot. Was easy to sight in and use. Ran it on a 22 rimfire AR and also on a 556. It worked well at both 25 yds short range and 200 yds long range. Am considering getting another one for my 6.5 Grendal AR. The brightness was not as bright as I expected, but this was in bright sunlight. Since it is etched glass this made no difference for picking up the reticle in the bright sun. On reason I bought this is that even if the battery was dead I would have a reticle which a standard red dot would not. I highly recommend this sight.
