Elizabeth's Review of Burris Eliminator III LaserScope 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope, 1 in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)
I've used a Burris Eliminator for several years now. First the Eliminator, then the Eliminator II. When something happened to the Eliminator II I sent it back to Burris and they sent me an Eliminator III! Who says Burris doesn't take care of their customers?
I love my Eliminator III. After playing with the settings a little bit at the range, I can hit a 2 inch gong at 312 yards. Last night I easily took down a deer at 197 yards, downhill. The scope compensated for the downhill angle too.
The only bad thing I can say about this scope is that it's not really good in low light and if your potential shot is toward the rising sun, when the sky is light but the land is still dark, you can forget about seeing anything through it. I wish they would fix that problem. Other than that little problem, this scope if perfect and I won't hunt without it.
