Tonic's Review of Burris Eliminator III LaserScope 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope, 1 in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

Its mounted on a Savage 110BA 338 Lapua and has seen 68 rounds so far. I have shot with it up to 894 yards and it is spot on. The eye relief is good. The mount is simple and included with the scope. It's also easy to remove in case I want to send some with my other rifles. The glass is about a 7-8 out of 10. I have shot with Schmidt and Benders, US Optics and other high quality glass. While it is not a S&B, it is very clear. I have not had the problems like the guy from Australia. Maybe it didn't come with a sun shade at first? I have not hunted with it yet but have shot in sunset conditions without issue. As far as the price, if you look at range finders over 1000 yards (because they never seem to go out as far as advertised), It is a pretty good deal. Not to mention you wont have to take your eye out of the scope to range game. The range finder on this model is very accurate and was within 1 yard at 894 yards. The only thing that I wish they would have included is the remote for the EIII. It's not an option for this model but is for the model 1 and 2. Not a huge deal breaker but... The scope is big!!! It hugs my barrel and also comes with a option/hardware to raise it a tad (not sure how much). The software is not complicated at all and can be adjusted for just about every caliber out there. All you have to do is read the manual once to get it down. I would recommend this without a doubt. You won't be disappointed.
