Simple and effective - Burris Eliminator III LaserScope 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope, 1 in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

This is a relatively idiot proof device for those of us who want the fun of shooting longer ranges at targets coupled with quick target acquisition in hunting situations without the hassle of trying to find and acquire the target in a handheld range finder, look up MOA drop, turn turrets to re-zero the crosshairs...all while trying to keep our eyes on a moving animal. It is a bit bulky and I cannot yet testify as to its durability in extreme conditions but I do expect to find out this fall in the Missouri Breaks. I have only shot out to 400 yards so far as I am working up a load for a new gun but it has performed perfectly. I am still learning the scope. I hope that it has a way to lower the brightness of the lighted sighting point. If not, that would be a nice improvement for future models. I find the light a bit bright in low light conditions.
