DSSS's Review of Burris Eliminator III LaserScope 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope, 1 in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I really like the build-in range finder, on the other hand that is as far as it goes, the remainder of being a good scope, much less a great scope, is severely lacking, not only in capabilities but also in customer support.
This scope cost more then the M1A rifle did. My disappointment is that this scope does not give you accurate information as it relates to point of impact, in short, the LED's do not correspond to much of anything other then a approximate POI, which makes this scope a safety hazard , One can certainly manually zero in the scope manually.
Yet on the other hand, using the onboard ballistic calculator , leaves a lot to be desired, for example, the onboard LED indicators, are not accurate. For example, using your LED readout, your shot group is high of the center target, so you adjust the your drop, thinking that the adjustment will at some point light a LED to reflect the drop change, (page 9 of user's guide), the LED never changes the point of impact based on LED readout, the same LED remains active until such time that 100 units of MOA are used up (customer support info), it's still not clear what the user guide and the tech support are talking about.

In summary
This product is misleading in it's capabilities and advertising, more importantly there is a certain amount of risk in the use of this scope to un-unintentionally hit a target by accident while using the LED readout. Range em and eliminate em is staged and not true, range em and maybe eliminate em is more accurate. Range em and eliminate em between 100 yards (zero) and 300 yards, good luck you will need em.
