Great sight for the money
Have used Burris products in the past and as before this AR-536 5x meets expectations.
Burris has great warranty and builds a great product for the price.
The combinations of the AR-536 and the Burris fastfire sight is perfect fit. Have used both together on AR and can move fastfire to other weapo...

Eye relief
For the at-536, the eye relief is right at an inch to 1.5 inches. I’ve got it temporarily mounted and the eye relief isn’t to my liking. It’s to close and in my opinion, I don’t think the ar-536 would be good for CQB due to the 5x magnification.
Great prism optics
Got this for my 308 build and this thing is very clear. Size is little bulky to my taste but its a solid piece of gear. Ballistic reticle is a must! I was hitting +600 yds easy. Can't imagine you'll get much out of CQC option. My 2cents, use little bit of thread locker on bottom mounting screws that attaches the scope to the clamp. Mine came loose and had to re-mount and re-zero.
Pros:
- Clear glass and wide FOV. Solid build.
Cons:
- Bit bulky and heavy

Burris AR 536
Good product, made solid, does exactly what it claims, very clear optic, like having the 3 color options and good sight picture, also like getting the Burris fast fire 3 with it, great deal price wise for the 2 products

Not at all impressed
So many better options than Burris. At $400+ there should be so much more quality in this. Reticle issues even at specific torque. Worse yet customer support was horrible. Very heavy. Ate batteries like candy.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Heavy
- Poor customer service
- canted reticle
Would recommend: No

Straight out the box
Straight out of the box, this little guy was on steel at 100yds with no adjustments made. The fastfire 3 mounted on top took a bit to dial in correctly, but once there it held true. Only complaint is with the battery lid on the fastfire( or any similar rds). If it is not lined up perfectly, it will not seal properly. Wish they had a few more threads on them.

This thing is awesome
I've built a hundred different rifles and had 50 different optics dollar for dollar you can't beat this thing. Plus a free fastfire, get out of town. It has a solid mount. The rails at 9, 12 and 3 are all removable.
Pros:
- Well built clear glass
Cons:
- a little heavy
Best Used for:
- Longer barrel AR
Would recommend: Yes
Can’t go wrong with the AR536
Optics Planet A1, Burris Optics A1 too! I own five Burris AR 536 optic systems, three of which had the free FF3. Zeroed in the AR 536 at 50 yards for CQB and hitting center ring at 150 yards with quarter-inch differential, no adjustment needed. I attached the FF3 to my bolt action savage 17 HMR, bolt action savage 22 Magnum, and one FF3 on my S&W 40 CORE.

Burris ar536
Very nice product.nice , clear and easy to mount. Had to move my rear sight to mount the Burris as close as possible to my eye. Eye relief isn't great but think its the best product in its class.Great for bad eyes and astigmatism.Haven't sighted it in a 100 yards yet. Hope to soon.

Very Good Optic
With the mini red dot mounted, this is an all-around set up for every thing out to 400m, maybe 600 if you push it. Solidly built, heavy and tough. Eye relief is like an ACOG.
The red dot brightness sensor is also a good feature.
The red dot brightness sensor is also a good feature.

- Very versitile
Cons:

- Shooting things

Burris red dot
WoW! What a clear piece of equipment. Works fantastic with my clip on night vision. I’ve paid a lot more for other optics that were not as clear. Very durable product with a very solid mount. I would definitely recommend!

Good deal, it works as advertised
The only things I don’t like so far is the small cut out to turn the FF3 on/off and the location of the battery and having to have a tool to change it. I may take a dremel to it or something to make it better suited for me. I’ve got back up irons on and they go-witness great.
Pros:
- Price
- usability
Cons:
- Battery compartment location
- on/off button location
Best Used for:
- Range
- SD/HD
